Not slip resistant anymore I had a previous pair of these for working as a chef in a kitchen. After wearing my previous pair out, ordered a new pair. These are NO LONGER slip resistant. In a kitchen, safety requires shoes being no slip. I was falling and sliding everywhereI called KEEN and they said they thought amazon has defective shoes. The rep at Keen said to return ASAP and to order directly from them. They also mentioned receiving calls about the shoes bought off amazon not being slip-proof and they were aware of the issue with the shoes sold on amazon

Keen Cutting Corners in Quality to Cut Costs I’ve been wearing Keen shoes since 2011. When I bought my first pair back then, I was impressed with the quality of workmanship and high level of comfort. As I wore that pair I became more and more amazed at their ability to hold up through countless 12- to 14-hour nursing shifts. At the end of each day, my feet were fine and my body did not feel fatigued like it had with previous brands. Here I am at the end of 2016 needing to replace that original pair (yes, that original pair lasted 5 1/2 years). So I purchased this pair of Keen Utility Oxford work shoes. And I was disappointed to see that they’ve sold out on quality and comfort for cost. I would have gladly paid twice what I paid for that first pair of Keens, but they’re cheaper now…by all definitions.I’m sending this pair back and sadly looking at other brands.

Don’t let the Dogs Bark! I’m an RN working 12 hour shifts at a jail on concrete floors and was required to buy non-slip shoes. Took a chance on these based on a chef’s recommendations, he couldn’t have been more correct in his review. Fit great, good arch support, and definitely no slip quality. After a few days I did replace inserts with my custom fit podiatric inserts I got from my Podiatrist due to chronic plantar fasciitis, but I put the keen inserts in my New Balance walking tennis shoe and they are much better than what original came in those. You won’t be disappointed with these keen shoes. Although I’ve only had them for about a month they seem very durable. You might pay a little more for these than another brand but in the real world you get what you pay for and comfort is worthy of the cost for me.
