Almost great except … At the top if the list of positives is that these are remarkable well-made shoes when compared to the very famous brand that everyone thinks of, and at a fraction of the price. For that reason I like them very much. They are very lightweight yet feel very durable and the materials are high grade. They also look every bit as good as the premium name brand shoes. What doesn’t work so well for me is that what looks like a Velcro adjustment strap on the back is not. It is only a padded heel strap. In fact there is no real adjustment strap on these at all. If you are lucky any the size matches your foot you probably won’t have any issues. They do run true to size, how many clothing items these days do? I wear a size 9 shoe, ordered these in size 9 and I am lucky that for me they are a perfect fit.But initial fit isn’t all that counts with this style of sandal, you want to be able to snug them up for climbing or when they get wet, and unlike other brands, you can’t do…

Great shoes for the price. Excellent fit and finish. Very light and super comfortable. This is an AWESOME water / casual sandal. I would say that it is probably best made, best quality this sort of shoes for THAT price.Normally, I wear 9.5 size, but this does not come in “half” size, so I ordered it size 10 because some said that I should order “half” size up. However, when I got size 10, it was way too big, but I like the fit and finish of the shoes. So, I returned size 10 and got size 9 which fits me absolutely perfect. It is also W I D E, so probably people who has wide feet would love it.I own a couple of pairs of “Keen” sandal which is a carbon copy of this shoes. Probably Atika copied Keen shoes. Anyway, it is not quite as good nor well made as the original Keen, but it is very Light and again “fit and finish” is excellent for the price. So, if you do not want to cough up $100 for the Keen’s, then this will work out perfect for you.

Okay Keen imitation for the price This is definitely a Keen imitation, and it almost pulls it off successfully except for a few things: there were no half-sizes available and the heel strap does not tighten at all. I really wanted to keep the shoe but I wasn’t confident that my foot would stay in it for an upcoming trip to the beach and tidepools. I have an older pair of Keen Newports to compare them to, and while the Keens don’t have a tightening strap in the back either, the fit was much more snug based on the size. I’ve been rafting with my Keens and have gotten my foot sunk in mud and rocks but have always been able to pull it out. I have little confidence that this Atika would do the same.I did like the price point and the availability of many colors and I really wanted to keep them. I think they would be good casual sandals for walking and some light hiking/wading. I might try and reorder a smaller size just for use around the garden or around-town tasks. It really looks like a running shoe…
